I also have plenty of logos and business card designs I have helped people with. When I design a logo you can use it for printing as well, so your web site and business card are the same. If you currently have a logo then that can be used on your web site. Ok, back to me.. I'm self taught and because of that found the quickest way to get the job done and to me that is the most important thing. The problem with web design is that it has to get done and then the aesthetic issues can be worked out. The reason I do it this way is that I have heard plenty of horror stories about web sites never getting finished and it usually is that there is so much back and forth about color or text size that the web site never gets finished. So I like to create the logo based on your color recommendations and any other things you want to tell me about then build the site around that. You have to text ready for the pages you want, because without it you do not have much of a web site. If I have the text, I can put a complete web site up in about 3 or 4 hours. I work fast and it also depends on the project and how extensive you want the graphics and number of pages you want. Still, in my opinion it is best to start with the basic stuff to get a complete working web site in the quickest time. Then we can add pages and improve things. I have found over the years that the customer is usually the one that has the final answer! They will advise you what they like. So do not over think colors and lay out in the beginning and the web site will be done very fast. Other then that I usually will complete a project prior to payment so that you do not pay until the project is done.
